EORI code/number (eori number) – a European Union (EU) registration and identification marker that is needed to import or export goods between EU and non-EU countries.  

The EORI code is used for various customs processes (e.g. clearance of shipments, applications, etc.). The EORI code is issued by customs or another designated authority – a registered EORI code works in all countries.

The assignment and use of the EORI code is defined by the legal regulations of the Republic of Lithuania and the EU. EORI code validity verification (eori check) is available through EU databases, the Customs Single User Management portal and other responsible authorities.
