Certificates for exports to the continent of Africa

Smart shipping, UAB also takes care of cargo transportation to the continent of Africa and organises the issuance of certificates for exporting goods to this continent. We can issue the ECTN, FERI, BIETC, BSC, CNCA, and CEE certificates to the clients.

ECTN certificate is required for exports to the Republic of Congo, Republic of Chad, Togo, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Libya, Guinea, and Central African Republic. This certificate must be submitted within five days of the departure of the cargo. Entering the relevant African country without the ECTN certificate incurs a penalty.

BSC certificate is required for exports to Madagascar, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria.

FERI certificate is required for exports to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and must be submitted along with the shipment.

BIETC certificate is required for exports to Gabon. The certificate must be approved no later than five days after departure.

CNCA certificate is required for exports to Angola and must be sent together with the cargo.

CEE certificate is required for exports to Guinea and must be submitted within five days of departure.

Where goods are exported to the respective countries without the necessary certificates, the carrier incurs monetary penalties.

Please be advised that the certificates will be issued much faster if you provide copies of the necessary documents: the ship’s bill of lading, shipping line’s transport invoice, commercial invoice, contact details of the consignee, the packing list, and TI number (for exports to Congo).
