Temperature-sensitive cargoes, or more precisely perishable goods, pose strict requirements on their transportation. Smart Shipping, UAB offers the transportation of frozen and chilled products or products requiring higher temperatures, using REF containers fitted with innovative and modern equipment.
REF containers (20’, 40’, 45’) are used to transport meat and meat products, dairy products, canned goods, confectionery, seafood and fish, fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, flowers, medicines, etc.
The company can also ensure that, where needed, cargo is transported in non-operating reefers (40’NOR).
Before loading any reefer, we carry out its pre-trip inspection (PTI), inspecting the cleanliness of the reefer and ensuring that there are no malfunctions – checking the levels of refrigerant and lubricants, inspecting wiring, measuring the temperature and voltage, and assessing the suitability of the engine.
If necessary, we can ensure that your cargo is issued a veterinary certificate or a veterinary entry document.
In addition, we can offer REF container transportation services within Latvia, Lithuania, and Belarus.
