Intermodal transportation
Intermodal freight transportation involves two different modes of transport, while avoiding reloading of goods from one vehicle to another. Intermodal transportation does not require reloading, as, at the time of changing the mode of transport, the goods remain in a shipping container or trailer.
Intermodal transportation is an extremely efficient, fast, relatively inexpensive, and environmentally friendly transportation method that helps reducing CO2 emissions, optimising traffic flows, and ensuring cargo safety on the roads.
